okay so this is basically to help me understand some words in TMBG songs from each album better :) i also hope this will help some other TMBG fans as well!

Sometimes I get the urge to just post a string of they might be giants lyrics but as much as I try to keep a "it's our blog we do what we want" attitude that does feel a little bit much to me. Instead I am saying go listen to TMBG now. Pretty much any song is good but personally I've been really vibing with By the Time You Get This note, ECNALUBMA and Apophenia. I would say about the last one that there are common gaslighting phrases (that's/you're crazy) and the implication that the person the song is about/from the perspective of is having a pretty major hallucination so I would be mindful of that if you think it might bother you. If you're a fan of other songs from that album or even some from nanobots then I think you have a pretty decent chance of being okay even if that normally might bother you but obviously you know better and should take care of yourself. It's a very fun song, though, if that won't bother you
